JANMASHTAMI

Lord Krishna is one of the most celebrated avatars of Lord Vishnu. The Janmashtami Celebration at BIFS marked his birth with great pomp and joy. The little Radhas and Krishnas looked adorable in their colorful traditional attires. Our tiny students made and wore “peacock feather head-gears” and excitedly decorated their matkis and flutes. The school transformed into a land of happiness with colorful jhankis and Krishna’s jhoola.

The naughty little kanhas and gopis of BIFS swayed and danced, taking everyone on a journey through the streets of Gokul. Children shared adventurous anecdotes, teaching that we must perform our duties without pride. The Janmashtami Celebration at BIFS ended with a lively dahi handi dance, where mischievous little makhanchors tried to grab their share of makhan in their signature style.
