Bhatnagar International Foundation School celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and patriotic fervour befitting the occasion. An interesting program, including dance, song, skit and yoga, were organised by the students to pay a tribute to freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country.

The students set the pitch for the program with shlokas and patriotic songs. The highlight of the program was the enactment of a skit on the life of Queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai, the young queen who became an icon against the British Raj. It urged today’s generation to value the freedom we have.
