Learning should never be restricted to the four walls of the classroom. We at Bhatnagar International Foundation School promote learning through outdoor experiences by regularly organizing trips and excursions. These are the perfect way to expand the horizons of the students. With the aim to encourage curiosity, scientific temper, team building and critical thinking among students, they were taken to “Aeroplanet”, Dwarka, New Delhi. The children learnt about flight safety, cockpit, passenger cabins, emergency landing and the cargo area. Children were also told about the different names of the airplanes. The excursion was a combination of Air travel safety and outdoor and indoor sports recreational activities.

Another fun filled excursion to Kidzania, Noida was a fantastic experience for the children. It is a safe, unique and interactive kid’s play zone that aims to empower, inspire and educate kids in the replica of a real city. The games in Kidzania empowered kids to explore, challenge themselves and open their minds to new experiences thereby stimulating creative thinking, decision making and self-confidence levels in them. It fosters a hands-on approach for children to explore the world of work and the wealth of possibilities in a safe and vibrant environment. Children were witnessed learning various new things without any extra effort, for eg: Adults need to clear the driving test before they are provided a driving license.
